  • DR NASIMA SIDDA

    Dr Nasima Sidda has been running the Sidda Family Practice since Senior Dr M S Sidda retired in 2011.

  • DR ALI HAROON KHAN

    Dr Khan is one of our GP Partners and has been with the practice since November 2024. He offers a full general practice service, and he has a special interest in Minor Surgery.

  • DR ISSAMUL HAQUE

    Male

    Dr Haque joined the practice in January 2025 and will be in practice for 1 clinic once a week. He is part of our Primary Care Network team and will be providing support to our GP team with more appointments available to patients.

  • DR MUHAMMED GHODIWALA

    Male

    Dr. Ghodiwala joined the practice in December 2025 and will be in practice for 2 clinics once a week. He is part of our Primary Care Network team and will be providing support to our GP team with more appointments available to patients.

  • DR SHAHBAZ HASSAN

    Male

    Dr Hassan is a locum GP working with our practice. They are an experienced and fully qualified doctor, registered with the GMC, and provide high-quality care across a wide range of general practice services.

Nurses

  • SHAHEEN ALI

    Shaheen is a qualified and registered Nurse able to offer a number of services to the patients including cervical smear testing, asthma reviews, children immunisations, chronic diseases management for diabetes, hypertension and chronic kidney disease. Shaheen can also carry out new patient checks, nhs checks, over 75 year reviews. dementia health checks, mental health and learning disabilities reviews, health issues as family planning.

  • RACHEL CROFT

    Female

    Rachael is our Nurse Associate. Rachael has her own clinics in which she does blood tests, ECGs, annual carer reviews and NHS health checks.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.

Practice Management

The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

    Practice Manager

    The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Reception

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Pharmacists

Pharmacists work in clinic and are able to work alongside the GP and to see patients for asthma reviews, diabetes reviews, medication reviews, hypertension clinics, repeat prescriptions authorisation, minor illness clinics (excluding pregnant women). This helps to increase availability for patients to see prescribers, and reduces the workload of the GP.

    Raeesa holds clinics in which she reviews patients who need a 6-12 monthly review of their medications. She also supports the doctors with medication queries, reconciling medication after a patient has been in hospital, requests from the hospitals to change any of their current medications. She also supports the practice with our drug safety audits which we do to ensure that the practice are prescribing safely and effectively.

  • BHAVISHA JARIWALA

    Bhav holds clinics in which she reviews patients who need a 6-12 monthly review of their medications. She also supports the doctors with medication queries, reconciling medication after a patient has been in hospital, requests from the hospitals to change any of their current medications. She also supports the practice with our drug safety audits which we do to ensure that the practice are prescribing safely and effectively.

  • SALIHA MAAROOF

    Female

    Saliha holds clinics in which she reviews patients who need a 6-12 monthly review of their medications. She also supports the doctors with medication queries, reconciling medication after a patient has been in hospital, requests from the hospitals to change any of their current medications. She also supports the practice with our drug safety audits which we do to ensure that the practice are prescribing safely and effectively.

Community Midwives

The midwife and her team look after all the pregnant women until they have returned home and settled with their babies. They are based on Ward M4, The Royal Bolton Hospital (Tel: 390631). If you have a confirmed pregnancy, you can self refer to the Community Midwives by ringing this number 01204 390023.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing. Call Crompton Health Centre on 01204 463050.

Social Prescribing Link Worker

    Social prescribing link workers connect people to community-based support, including activities and services that meet practical, social, and emotional needs that affect their health and wellbeing. This includes connecting people to statutory services for example housing, financial and welfare advice.

  • MOHMED PATEL

    Male

    Health Improvement Practitioner

    Mohmed works alongside our clinical team to support health prevention programmes. His clinics are for patients at risk of developing diabetes, patients at risk of developing a cardiovascular disease and patients aged 40-75 with no precluding cardiovascular disease.

  • MEGAN MURRAY

    Female

    Care Co-ordinator

    Megan is our care co-ordinator and she is involved in a variety of work. She contacts patients to book appointments for eligible vaccines, screening programmes and other health checks. She also provides some support to our Social Prescribing Link Worker.
